Clawton Parish Hall

Clawton Parish Hall was constructed by local volunteers and support builders in the 1950’s.   It has been the hub of the community for almost 70 years.

During the past few years we have made improvements to the exterior and interior.    The car park was enlarged, drainage was updated then a covering of tarmac was applied to the parking area, and recently added was an outside seating area connected to the hall by double doors.

We host many community events, local clubs i.e. men’s and ladies’ skittle teams, short mat bowls club, Women on Wednesday group and model railway club, along with association with our young farmers’ club.  A whist evening is about to be restarted.

We host a regular monthly coffee morning to bring everyone together.  The Church supporters use the hall for fundraising events, and the local Parish Council attend the hall for their bi-monthly meetings.

The hall is an ideal location for smaller family gatherings or wedding receptions.  We have updated the kitchen facilities recently, and have a full range of catering items, and a dishwasher.

We aim to provide an affordable venue for our community and beyond.
